Media: Creative Media & Production Co-ordinator

Pretoria, Gauteng (Full Time)

The Creative Media & Production Co-ordinator – Pretoria is responsible for different tasks in both the creative arts and media teams, ensuring high-quality productions, branding, and content creation. This role involves managing volunteers in the Social Media team as well as the Creative Arts team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both production/musical theatre (5 years minimum) and event management (5 years minimum), with the ability to direct performances, create engaging stage designs, and manage branding across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Arts & Production Management

Manage and oversee Creative Arts (CA) volunteers, including actors, dancers, makeup artists, costume designers, and props teams.

Direct and manage all productions, service openers, and theatrical performances.

Oversee stage design, costume, and makeup for Sunday services, productions, and conferences.

Develop and produce creative Sunday illustrations to enhance sermon messaging.

Plan and execute event activations for key occasions (Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Dream Week, etc.).

Develop and manage the budget for productions, conferences, and creative campaigns.

Assist with monthly baby dedication set-up and other media fundraising initiatives as needed.

Media, Branding & Content Creation

Manage and oversee graphic, video, and photo editors, as well as presenters and film teams.

Oversee branding consistency and execution for Pretoria’s creative projects.

Assign and supervise social media video editing for specific tasks.

Capture and edit photos and videos for Pretoria Sunday services, special events, ministries, and campaigns.

Oversee and coordinate photo and video shoots for content creation.

Equipment & Financial Oversight

Manage finances related to equipment purchases and maintenance.

Ensure Pretoria has the necessary social media and production equipment, handling repairs and upkeep as needed.

Office Maintenance & Supplies – Manage office inventory, order supplies, and ensure equipment is functional.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential

Degree or certificate in Theatre Production, Performing Arts, Media Production, Graphic Design, or Event Management.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in production or musical theatre.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management.

Strong leadership in managing creative volunteers and media teams.

Proven ability to direct performances, manage rehearsals, and oversee productions.

Experience in branding, content creation, and social media management.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or other editing software.

Strong budgeting and financial planning skills.

Experience in UI/UX for web design is a plus but not mandatory.

Preferred

Experience in church or faith-based creative arts and media production.

Background in theater, music, dance, or graphic design.

Knowledge of LED screen integration for stage productions.

Work Conditions & Expecatations

Must be based in Pretoria.

Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and special events.

Ability to travel locally for events and shoots.

Strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Collaborative mindset, working closely with ministry leaders and creative teams.
