Media: Social Media & Branding Co-ordinator

The Media & Branding Co-ordinator – Johannesburg is responsible for overseeing the creative and technical execution of media production, branding, and content creation within the city. This role includes managing editors, presenters, and media teams while ensuring high-quality photo, video, and social media content. The Media & Branding Manager will be responsible for the city's branding consistency, media production, equipment purchases and maintenance, and creative storytelling through visual content.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Project Management
Manage and oversee editors (graphic, video, and photo), presenters, and media teams in Johannesburg.
Direct and coordinate photo and film teams for Sunday services, special events, and campaigns.
Assign and oversee social media video editing for specific tasks and projects.
Branding & Content Creation
Ensure each city’s branding aligns with the overall vision and messaging.
Plan and execute high-quality content creation through photoshoots, video shoots, and graphic design.
Oversee the setup of photoshoots for social media and campaign content.
Photography & Videography
Take photos and videos in each city for social media, ensuring high-quality storytelling.
Edit photos for Johannesburg (JHB) Sunday services, special events, ministries, and campaigns.
Manage the production and editing process to maintain brand consistency.
Equipment & Financial Oversight
Manage the city's media equipment finances, including budgeting and purchasing necessary gear.
Maintain and oversee repairs and upkeep of all social media and media production equipment.
Office Maintenance & Supplies – Manage office inventory, order supplies, and ensure equipment is functional.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
Degree or certificate in Graphic Design, Media Production, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in video and photo editing.
Strong skills in photography, videography, and content editing.
Proficiency in industry-standard software (Adobe Creative Suite).
Ability to manage and direct creative teams effectively.
Knowledge of social media trends and content strategies.
Experience in budgeting and equipment management.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Experience in UI/UX for web design is a plus but not mandatory.
Preferred
Experience in church or faith-based media production.
Strong understanding of branding and visual storytelling.
Work Conditions & Expecatations
