RUN FOR ME CRC CARES FUN RUN
Our annual Run For Me Charity Fun Run brings communities together to raise awareness and support for vulnerable children in our care at Talitha Cumi Place of Safety. Participants run for a cause - helping to provide care, protection and life-changing opportunities for these children. The event has grown into a powerful platform for community engagement, drawing together families, corporates and volunteers who share a commitment to making a difference.
Together, we make a stand to Defend the Fatherless.

Since 2008, Talitha Cumi has been a place of refuge and restoration for vulnerable children. We began with a single home caring for 26 children aged 2–10, later expanding to include a Baby House for infants up to 2 years old. Today, we care for 41 children across both homes, offering love, stability, and hope until they are placed with safe, loving families.
Our vision has grown into the Talitha Cumi Village—a purpose-built space where orphaned and abandoned children from newborn to 18 can grow up in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. With five houses built and one already furnished, we continue to trust for the resources to complete and register the remaining homes. Here, children will be cared for until they are ready to step confidently into adulthood.

Driven by deep compassion and a fierce love for the vulnerable, Ma Boshoff—under the visionary leadership of Ps At—was moved to action after witnessing the heartbreaking realities many children face each day. Refusing to look away, she gave life to the vision of Talitha Cumi, a place where children could find safety, love, and hope again. Partnering with Child Welfare to handle legal aspects, Ma Boshoff focused on creating homes where broken hearts could begin to heal. Ma Boshoff’s legacy is one of fierce faith, relentless kindness, and a heart that will always fight for every child to know they are chosen, cherished, and called by name.
